“By Horseback: paintings of horses and landscapes from worldwide horseback adventures” It will include paintings by Allison Eklund from Iceland to the Navajo Nation.
Allison F. Eklund is an artist and attorney from Roseville, Minnesota. After graduating from St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota with double majors in art and art history, she pursued a career in law without leaving art behind. Painting primarily in oil, she explores a wide variety of subjects but finds particular inspiration in wilderness adventures, especially horseback expeditions. She discovered the vibrant community of plein air painters in 2007 and has enjoyed plein air competitions ever since. She is a former President of Outdoor Painters of Minnesota, currently serving as Events Director. She is the lead organizer of OPM's annual Winter Plein Air Retreat and of Plein Air Grand Marais.

Ceramics by Deborah Barce: Deborah was formally trained in ceramics at Greenwich House Pottery in NYC, obtained a Bachelors of Arts in Fine Art from Brooklyn College, and also completed an artist-in-residency in Woodstock, N.Y. She currently has a studio in her home in Victoria, MN and creates pottery at the Minnetonka Center for the Arts.
